(2) piece set 1796 "Lincoln 'brockage' Sandwich"No Pole Cracked Die Half Cent

A 1937 Lincoln Cent was sandwiched evenly between two half cent blanks and struck with the 1796 No Pole cracked die variety. The US Lincioln Cednt is NOT present.

The resulting piece gives a full , negative impression of the penny "inside" the othe rtwo pieces. The extra "meat" creates a slight overstrike in the Half Cent portions.  All of our reproductions at Gallery Mint were produced to the exact same size, weight, and material as the original issues. Struck on hand sunk dies using a screw press. Reproduced all the way down to the decorative and lettered edges. The only way for a reproduction to be as close to the original as possible is to make the exactly like the originals.
