Nice off-metal Half Eagle from the private stash. Gallery Mint Museum had a policy to never "down-strike" dies. Meaning, dies generally strike no lesser noble metals than they were intended for.
This was a 'Ron Landis cabinet' piece. Living in his office from the day it was struck.
