1793 Liberty Cap Large Cent/1997 Hobo Nickel Indent Mated Pair

A 1997 GMM Hobo Token was placed, obverse down, centered on a Lettered Edge large cent blank. The resulting piece Gives a full impression of the central devices, Miss Liberty, while the token thickness protected the peripheral outer lettering and date. The undertype seems to be completely obliterated, but maybe your eyes can see better than mine. 
If I made this today I would not have "COPY" stamped either piece because they are both dated 1997. 
The "inside" of the mated pair has an expanded Indian Head token with a mirror embossing of the entire token being stamped into the large cent blank.
The reverse dentils failed to raise without backpressure during the strike due again, to the token thickness.
 

All of our reproductions at Gallery Mint were produced to the exact same size, weight, and material as the original issues. Struck on hand sunk dies using a screw press. Reproduced all the way down to the decorative and lettered edges. The only way for a reproduction to be as close to the original as possible is to make the exactly like the originals.
